I am a Vietnamese/Blackfeet Descendant and a PhD candidate in American Indian Studies at the University of Arizona. My dissertation focuses on Indigenous women in the workforce to help inform resources and policies. I started Indigenous Matriarchs, LLC, as a place to share research and resources for Indigenous women.
Influencers of Workforce Outcomes
Through an advanced statistical analysis, survey data will be further analyzed to determine influencers of successful workforce outcomes.
Interviews with Indigenous Women
A dozen Indigenous women in the workforce will be interviewed to gather stories and insight on workplace experiences.
High School Programs and Top Earners
State government data will be used to examine the relationship of taking concurrent enrollment/CTE courses in high school and becoming a top earner for Native Americans.
